Coach’s Spring 2018 global advertising campaign featuring actor and singer-songwriter Timmy Xu. Capturing the toughness and tenderness of New York City, the campaign shows Xu resting on a window ledge in a New York City loft with a quintessential prewar fire escape and the iconic Empire State Building in the background. It’s magic hour and the image hints at the endless possibility of the night ahead in the city that never sleeps.


“Every visit to New York excites me – there is such amazing art and culture. To shoot with Coach in its home city and to see Creative Director Stuart Vevers’s vision for the season come together was truly special” says Xu.


Xu wears a soft suede jacket layered over a cheeky Hawaiian print shirt and is pictured with the Coach x Keith Haring Dylan in Signature Patchwork—a key bag of the season inspired by flight bags from the 1970s. The silhouette features burnished glovetanned leather trim, hand-placed details, embroidered Keith Haring patches and Coach’s iconic Signature pattern. Keith Haring x Coach was done in collaboration with Artestar, an agency that exclusively represents Keith Haring worldwide as well as other high-profile artists.


The launch will also include a short, 15-second video starring Xu, bringing the vision of the campaign to life.
