Ready-to-Wear fashion allows designers to be more accessible to the masses and here’s another one to add to the growing list. We attended the fashion showcase of Lazada Malaysia’s collaboration with renowned fashion designer Jovian Mandagie earlier today which saw models strut the ready-to-wear Jovian Mandagie x Lazada Spring/Summer 2016 Collection down the runway.
Fans of Jovian Mandagie can now look forward to browsing and buying pieces from the collection, available exclusively on Lazada from 21 January 2016.
“We are thrilled with this exclusive collaboration with Malaysia’s leading fashion designer, Jovian Mandagie. 2016 is going to be an interest year in the fashion category for Lazada and this collaboration with Jovian Mandagie marks the first of many initiatives we have planned for the year”, said CEO of Lazada Malaysia, Hans-Peter Russel who opened the event.
Serving the modern-day woman and her style needs
“This debut is proof of how two different brands can merge together to create an impeccable partnership that fills the gap in our market. The collaboration was a natural move for us and now with Lazada Malaysia, this collection is accessible to my fans nationwide”, said fashion designer Jovian Mandagie, Creative Director of Jovian Ready-to-Wear.
The collection features twenty eight designs that are fully inspired by the modern-day woman, who actively pursues their career while never missing a beat with their sense of style. The collection is trendy and chic and aims to put new perspective to every day fashion – making its pieces ready-to-wear for any event.
The designs incorporate crystal and floral beads on sleeved blouses and baju kurungs. You can look forward to pastel colours, bright colours, and prints, peplum skirts, pencil and palazzo pants (to name a few), and fabrics of chiffon, woolen tweed, cotton jersey, and more.

This collection is very exciting and it has a distinct look that sets the fashion trend for 2016.
