You can easily find egg tart in Ipoh. The one that we tried were Hong Kee egg tart. Locals and tourist say Hong kee makes one of the best egg tarts in town, known for having a crust with 48 crispy layers. With the egg curd that has just the right amount of sugar, it is really flavourful and delicious.

2. Sweet Soup (Tong Sui)

Head over to ‘Tong Sui Kai’, the road where is lined with lots of food stalls that mostly selling desserts. Known for the variety of tong sui offers here, this is one of the most happening eating places in Ipoh after dark. Try to order at different stalls and you will get a different version of mixed fruit ABC.
