GUESS has teamed up with Kloth Lifestyle (they own sustainable apparel maker Waste2Wear in Malaysia) to run a denim recycling drive in all GUESS stores across Malaysia from September 29 to October 30.

The denim collected through this recycling campaign is recycled and a portion of this is in turn distributed to help communities in need.

Victor Herrero, Chief Executive Officer of GUESS Inc, said in the brand’s statement, “By understanding and prioritizing our social and environmental impacts, we will create a stronger brand that will continue to be a worldwide leader, shaping the fashion industry.”

guess-recycle-denim-campaignTo take part in this campaign, feel free to bring as much as denim as you want to a GUESS store near you. The denim can be of any brand and not necessarily be from GUESS. In return, donors will get to enjoy 30% off a new pair of regular-priced GUESS denim purchased in-store.

So what are you waiting for? All you have to do is give your denim wardrobe a proper spring cleaning. You don’t have to go far to help those in need.
