This coming November, GUESS is launching the limited edition GUESS Originals Holiday capsule collection, consisting of men’s and women’s apparel inspired by the DNA of the GUESS brand.
The women’s Originals collection is inspired by the vintage GUESS designs made in the 80’s and 90’s and is reinterpreted to new modern styles with the use of innovative fabric and wash technologies. The Holiday 2016 capsule brings back denim washes from iconic GUESS silhouettes including 1981 skinny and baggy high-waist jeans, re-worked dungarees and oversized pencil skirts all sporting the iconic triangle logo on the back pocket as well as tailored denim bustiers, cropped logo embossed shirt jackets, long line vests and shirt dresses. GUESS black and white logo-centric tee’s, tank’s and boxy cropped sweatshirts balance out the denim heavy collection. Long-sleeve indigo rib lace up bodysuits and dresses injects a sexier edge that matches the capsule’s baggier denim pieces.
The men’s Originals brings a big statement with 90’s workwear such as slim tapered carpenter jeans in light to medium vintage washes as well as an assortment of shrunken Sherpa’s and oversized classic denim jackets in light to dark vintage washes. Classic hits such as vintage indigo and grey acid wash skinny jeans and logo tee’s and hoodies dipped in muted tones bring drama to the simple designs.
GUESS Originals pieces will be available in selected GUESS stores in limited pieces starting November 2016.
