Pestle & Mortar Clothing Raises Funds for Marginalised Communities Through Their Latest Initiative“Stronger Together”

Throughout this restricted movement order period, many businesses will be affected negatively due to they are forced to limit their operations or close down completely. While many of us recognize the dedication and hardwork of the front liners of COVID-19, there’s a group of people that we often overlook – Marginalised communities, who live each day, paycheck to paycheck, cannot even pay for food to feed their families, who cannot even pay the 40 ringgit to get screened for this virus, let alone made worse by the situation that they are now unable to leave their houses to work.

This 25th of March, Pestle & Mortar Clothing together with other Malaysians will be launching a new initiative entitled “Stronger Together” where they will be releasing a total of 7 new t-shirt designs surrounding different educational pillars that spread awareness on how to curb and tackle this pandemic.

Pestle & Mortar Clothing will be allocating 35% of sales to purchase food and necessities for these families. Food donations will be done through a local NGO, Impact Malaysia. To further solidify this initiative, all food will be purchased from smaller businesses to give them some additional support during this difficult time.

Some of their partners involved in this initiative include Malaysian running club Brand New Waves, Malaysian production company Thinker Studio, Malaysian Mixed Martial Arts athlete Theeban G and many others.

Each of these t-shirts will be sold at RM109.00 via a pre-order model through PMC’s online store from the 25th of March till the 3rd of April 2020.

Through this initiative, Pestle & Mortar Clothing aims to raise awareness surrounding these issues and encourages the Malaysian public to support the cause in whatever way possible.
