Recently, we embarked on a delightful culinary journey through their revamped brunch menu during their grand reopening. These semolina-based muffins are bursting with flavorful spices. Enjoy them with a side of coconut cilantro chutney and syrup for a deliciously savory and slightly sweet breakfast treat.
Cardamom Corn Bread & Chicken Vindaloo:
The chef’s father’s special vindaloo recipe is a standout. The tender, flavourful chicken pairs perfectly with the sweet corn bread, creating an unconventional but heavenly combination.
Chutney Cheese Sandwich:
Melted delicate cheese blended with fresh cilantro and onion chutney, sandwiched between house-made sourdough bread. The bread has a satisfying chew, and the flavours of the herby chutney and cheese are truly a match made in heaven. Don’t forget the delightful side of chickpea salad!
Not going to lie, we thought this was like one of those typical oatmeal dishes but prepare to have your mind changed about oatmeal! The sweetness of bananas, dates, and spices combined with the texture of steel cut oats is simply perfect. This dish will be devoured in no time.
Brioche Bombay Toast:
This crispy bread is soaked in a delicious milk mixture spiced with cinnamon, turmeric, and more before being fried to perfection. Not overly sweet, it becomes pure perfection when drenched in maple syrup. Absolutely chef’s kiss!
