This Deepavali, The Gardens Mall is serving up a feast for the senses! From 21 October to 9 November 2026, the mall celebrates the Festival of Lights with a colourful tribute to South Indian culinary heritage.
Taking centre stage is a spectacular kolam inspired by a traditional South Indian banana leaf feast, reimagined as an intricate circular mandala. Adorned with real spices, cooking utensils, hanging dried chillies and spice pots, the installation celebrates the flavours, traditions and togetherness that make Deepavali special.

But there’s more to savour beyond the decorations!

Visitors can soak up the festive spirit with lively Semi-Classical, Semi-Odissi and Oyilattam dance performances, or get creative with hands-on workshops.

Craft an adorable miniature food clay art fridge magnet or blend your very own aromatic Chai Masala to take home.
The workshops run on selected dates until 9 November, with a minimum spend of RM50 at any store required to register one participant. Registration opens via the MVClub app 30 minutes before each session, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Whether you’re drawn to the vibrant decorations, cultural performances or creative experiences, The Gardens Mall offers a delightful way to celebrate the Festival of Lights.
