Deepavali is a celebration of light, renewal and togetherness. This year, Pavilion REIT Malls bring the Festival of Lights to life through intricate artistry, cultural traditions and contemporary interpretations of Indian heritage, with each destination offering its own festive charm.
From the grandeur of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur to the creative installations at Pavilion Bukit Jalil and the traditional craftsmanship at Intermark Mall, the celebrations offer a colourful glimpse into the richness of Indian culture.
Pavilion Kuala Lumpur: A Royal Journey of Radiance

At Pavilion KL, Deepavali 2026 unfolds as Journey of Radiance, transforming the mall into a scene inspired by the grandeur of royal India.
The experience begins at the Main Entrance, where royal parasols, ornate elephants, peacocks and marigold florals create a majestic welcome. Further inside, colourful haveli-inspired façades and traditional jharokha windows frame the Rangoli Walkway, while the Spanish Steps glow with cascading marigolds and lanterns inspired by traditional diyas.

Beyond the elaborate decorations, the celebration brings Indian artistry closer to visitors through henna designs, regional sarees, handcrafted accessories and festive home décor.
Fashion takes centre stage with Fashion in Motion: Reimagined Saree Runway, presented in collaboration with the Malaysian Official Designers’ Association (MODA). Led by a Peacock Dancer, the showcase features 30 Malaysian designers reinterpreting the traditional saree through luxurious silks, intricate embroidery, creative draping and contemporary silhouettes.

It is a compelling meeting of heritage and modern design, showing how a timeless garment continues to inspire a new generation of creatives.
Running until 9 November 2026, the celebration also features cultural dance performances and festive shopping rewards, adding more reasons to explore the mall throughout the season.
Pavilion Bukit Jalil: Creativity Woven with Tradition
At Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Joyful Lights – Together, Here celebrates the spirit of Deepavali through meaningful installations and community creativity.

One of the highlights is The Saree of 1,080 Blessings, created by UCSI Group students. Inspired by the significance of 108 in Hindu tradition, the installation brings 1,080 blessings together in a single flowing saree, symbolising wholeness, collective goodwill and togetherness.

Illuminated elephant displays add another striking visual moment, while colourful kolam art created by City University Malaysia students showcases a traditional art form associated with prosperity and good fortune.
The celebrations continue with Indian semi-classical and fusion dance performances, alongside a diya painting workshop for Pavilion Privileges members. Here, visitors can personalise a traditional oil lamp and take home a keepsake that reflects the festival’s message of light triumphing over darkness.
The campaign runs until 9 November 2026, bringing families and friends together through culture, creativity and festive experiences.
Intermark Mall: A Kaleidoscope of Light
At Intermark Mall, Kaleidoscope of Light takes a more intimate approach to the festivities, celebrating colour, craftsmanship and tradition.
The Deepavali Marketplace offers a curated selection of festive fashion, gifts and seasonal essentials, while a collaboration with kolam artist Siran’s Arts highlights the intricate beauty of this traditional decorative art.
Often associated with welcoming prosperity and good fortune, kolam brings a meaningful cultural touch to the mall’s celebration.
Running until 11 November 2026, the festivities also include a Deepavali Blind Box redemption for shoppers who meet the qualifying spend, adding a little surprise to the seasonal experience.

Across Pavilion REIT Malls, Deepavali 2026 is more than a display of festive lights. It is an invitation to appreciate the artistry, traditions and creativity that connect generations, bringing the spirit of the Festival of Lights into the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
