In the Vallée de Joux, the historical premises of the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre are now home to an exclusive space dedicated to ornamental crafts and named the Métiers Rares® (Rare Crafts) Atelier. It brings together in one place the range of skills bound up with the brand identity: enamelling, engraving, gemsetting and guilloché work.

Pervaded by a combination of extreme concentration, natural sharing and boundless inspiration, this workshop devotes its multiple skills to creating remarkable models such as the Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon.

With this, Jaeger-LeCoultre also introduced 2 new Métiers Rares models – the Rendez-Vous Tourbillon Enamel and the new Rendez-Vous Moon High Jewellery watch, which feature a flow of talent and inspiration.

Rendez-Vous Tourbillon Enamel Watch

jaeger-lecoultre_rendez-vous_tourbillon_enamel_34134e4For the very first time, the Rendez-Vous Tourbillon model adopts the intensity of black on an opaque enamelled dial exuding a unique sense of depth. This resolutely graphic watch in a white gold case is lit up by the presence of 254 diamonds on the dial, bezel, lugs and crown.

With its stylised gracefully elongated numerals, the watch radiates an inimitable allure. Its elegance is also expressed through a sophisticated movement equipped with a tourbillon designed to compensate for the effects of gravity. This model embodies a signature blend of equally significant technical and aesthetic elements.

The mechanical automatic movement enriched with a tourbillon is crafted and assembled by hand at the workshops of Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre and has a 45-hour power reserve.

Rendez-Vous Moon High Jewellery Watch

jaeger-lecoultre_rendez-vous_moon_high_jewellery_3533401The new Rendez-Vous Moon High Jewellery watch is a stunning sight from all angles, radiantly adorned with baguette-cut and brilliant stones. Spanning almost half of the dial, the starry sky is depicted by 301 blue sapphires of various sizes in a snow-setting technique.

As well as giving it pride of place on the dial, Jaeger-LeCoultre has also endowed it with peak precision emblematic of the innovative spirit driving the Maison. Whereas a classic moon phase accumulates a one-day difference every two and a half years, this Rendez-Vous Moon is designed to remain accurate for 972 years. Almost an eternity. A mysterious star on the dial indicates the time of a future rendezvous.

This mechanical automatic movement with its 40-hour power reserve is enriched with a moon phase.
