First Look: Fitflop Spring Summer 2018

Style and comfort has always been at the forefront of Fitflop’s brand concept. For Spring Summer 2018, Fitflop is putting biomechanics as top priority, followed by refined silhouettes, trendy embellishments and styles that you can carry anywhere and everywhere.

The highlight of this season? Two brand-new midsole technologies. DuocomFF is a supersleek, duallayer midsole featured across some of the new smart, slim-line sandals; Microbubbleboard delivers the same under foot comfort as the Microwobbleboard technology with a lightweight feel. Expect lots of laser-cut detailing, fringing, animal print and crystal embellishment, with a colour palette of dusky pinks, dove blues and iridescent metallics across the entire collection.

As for the key styles, the best-selling Überknit returns with a twist. The slip-on style Überknit Gladiator Back-Strap sandal features the signature one-piece stretch-knit, hugging the foot in an open-toe silhouette. With bungee-inspired elastic in place of laces, the Ghillie sneakers make light work of the athleisure trend and are perfect for pulling on after yoga, or pairing with floaty midi-skirts or skinny jeans and exploring the city.

Not just for the beach, this season also sees the return of game-changing iQushion flip flops, in bold summer brights, stripes and daisy prints, as well as flower stud embellishment – giving you even more reason to get your toes out this spring summer. For something a little smarter, slip your feet into the Strata gladiator and H-Bar sandal – both minimal, smart styles that do backyard barbecues just as well as they do Santorini stairs.

And if none of those pings you interest, go part-sandal, part-shoe in the new closed-toe styles including the Cova sandal, in iridescent leathers, suedes and tweeds, with a minimal ankle-strap, and the Tassel Superskate D’Orsay loafers.
