The charming and dynamic Taiwanese-born actor, Eddie Peng has joined BOSS eyewear as the new face for the brand’s Spring/Summer 2016 campaign. According to BOSS, he was chosen for his energy and modern style, which embodies the spirit of BOSS eyewear.

The new styles Eddie Peng is wearing in the campaign visuals are a perfect blend of contemporary and reduced design, conveying the functionality and timeless elegance that define the brand.

The campaign was shot in Montauk, New York and uses the structure of a house and its grounds in different ways, playing with movement and perspective, to portrays the central element of the BOSS DNA for this SS2016 campaign: the juxtaposition of architecture and nature. Directed by Artistic Director Jason Wu, and photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the images exude a fresh, youthful spirit.

In the campaign, Eddie wears optical and sunglass designs from the new collection – iconic pilot shape sunglasses and the classic men’s optical frame.

Iconic Pilot Shape 

The sunglass design features an iconic pilot shape that combines a steel front with double carbon fibre temples. Soft-to-the-touch rubber structures the carbon fibre temples. Available in 3 colours: dark brown with carbon rubber in brown, matte black with carbon rubber in black, blue with carbon rubber in blue and in dark ruthenium with carbon rubber in red.

Innovative Materials 

These classic men’s optical frame is crafted with sophisticated materials, such as metal, flexible carbon fiber and rubber. The double carbon fiber is visible at the temples and is merged with soft-to-the-touch rubber inserts. The frames come in classic and subtle shades such as black, brown and blue, underlining the styles’ modern and reduced design.
