ASICS SPORTSTYLE Collaborates with Southeast Asian Artists for the ART IN MOTION Collection

ASICS SPORTSTYLE launches the ART IN MOTION Collection, a limited edition collection featuring three iconic ASICS SPORTSTYLE models, each taking on an exclusive design by a local Southeast Asian artist, including our local graffiti artist, Kenji Chai for the classic GEL-1130, Singaporean artist, tobyato for the NOVABLAST and Thai artist, Irin Ariyatanaporn (Ann) for the JAPAN S sneakers.

The collection marks ASICS SPORTSTYLE’s commitment to uplifting the creative community and culture across the Southeast Asia region by providing local creatives with a platform to showcase their craft.

GEL-1130

Kenji made a unique spin on the GEL-1130 sneakers which features an army camouflage pattern in his signature “Chaigo” colourway!

NOVABLAST

While Tobyato drew inspiration from the ancient Chinese philosophy of yin and yang, giving the NOVABLAST an asymmetric black and white design with a pop of pink and interchangeable Velcro patches on the shoe tongue.

JAPAN S

For the JAPAN S, Irin (Ann) has incorporated her characteristic doodles with varied textures and hues to the sneaker to reflect the history of basketball materials.

The collection is available now at ASICS.COM, ASICS stores and Foot Locker Sunway Pyramid.
