Gigi explained, “My thighs were huge, they were like rock! Growing up I was really athletic and I had a very athletic body. I had like crazy muscles and I [ate] like a man – more than the man that I eat like now, like a bigger man – and it was crazy but at the time I didn’t care what my body looked like, I just wanted to be the best volleyball player I could be so it didn’t really matter to me.”

“Yes, I have boobs, I have abs, I have a butt, I have thighs, but I’m not asking for special treatment. I’m fitting into the same sample sizes. Your mean comments don’t make me want to change my body, they don’t make me want to say no to the designers that ask me to be in their shows, and they definitely don’t change the designers opinions of me,” Gigi posted on her Instagram.

Overall, she knows that at the end of the day, maintain a balance is still a major key to be healthy and fit.

Gigi shared, “I can eat healthy when I want to and I can work out every single day and I can have the body for a certain runway show if I need to but that doesn’t mean that I’m doing it in an unhealthy way.”

She continued, “You need to find things that are still a healthy way of doing it and for some jobs that’s just the best way to do it unless you start six months in advance… I personally would rather do the Master Cleanse for ten days than just eat salad for six months.”

All hail Queen Gi.
