For nearly two weeks in May, Centre Court at Mid Valley Megamall was transformed into a beauty destination as YSL Beauty unveiled its Lovenude Beauty Hotel.
Held from 5 to 17 May 2026, the immersive pop-up marked the Malaysian launch of the new YSL Lovenude collection, introducing the brand’s first matte hybrid lip range. Designed to capture the mood of understated sensuality, the experience invited shoppers to discover the collection through a series of interactive spaces inspired by the effortless appeal of the nude lip.
Meet the New YSL Lovenude Lip Duo
The spotlight was on the YSL Lovenude Lip Blusher, a new lip formula that combines the soft, blurred finish of a matte lipstick with the comfortable feel of a balm. Lightweight and buildable, it creates a diffused wash of colour that enhances the lips without feeling dry.
Completing the look is the YSL Lovenude Kiss Shaper, a creamy lip liner designed to define and contour with ease. Used together, the two products deliver a polished yet natural finish that feels modern and wearable.
A Pop-Up Designed for Discovery
The YSL Lovenude Beauty Hotel was conceived as an immersive retail concept, with each section offering a different way to experience the collection.
The pop-up opened with an exclusive preview attended by members of the media, beauty insiders and local tastemakers. Setting the mood for the evening was a live DJ performance by Athina Kamarudin.
Guests began at the Check-In Desk before making their way through the installation’s standout attractions.
The Shade Room, styled like a softly lit bedroom, served as a photobooth where visitors could capture their favourite beauty moments. Nearby, the Lovenude Hotline offered an unexpected touch: a pre-recorded message from Dua Lipa, YSL Beauty’s global ambassador and the face of the Lovenude campaign.
Those who completed the experience received a complimentary discovery kit, while purchases were rewarded with exclusive gifts. Customers who purchased any two products, including one Lovenude Lip Blusher, also received a mini Lovenude Kiss Shaper.
