It begins, as every timeless tale does, once upon a winter’s night. In an enchanted perfume atelier, a single drop escapes a precious bottle and unfurls a paper universe alive with scent, colour and imagination. In Guerlain’s hands, origami becomes a language—one that translates gardens, icons and beloved creations into a poetic odyssey.
The Maison’s emblematic bee appears first, delicately sculpted in paper, only to transform—almost mischievously—into a chameleon that shifts through jewel-tone hues. From there, an entire cast of characters springs forward: fluttering hummingbirds, a spirited baby elephant, majestic butterflies, even the iconic Habit Rouge horse in full gallop. Each creature pays tribute to a chapter of Guerlain’s heritage, guiding us through a world where perfume is both memory and magic.
This season, Guerlain extends its storytelling through artistic collaborations that elevate the holidays into an exhibition of craftsmanship. Paper artist Aurély Cerise constructs breath-catching scenes glowing with shimmer, while Mélissandre Vidal reinvents the Maison’s Advent Calendar into an origami fairytale—25 enchanting surprises culminating in a Rouge G framed in Art Deco splendor.
Sculptor Géraldine Gonzalez lends her visionary touch to the legendary Bee Bottle, adorning it with crescent moons, stars, crystal and gilded beads. The result: radiant, numbered masterpieces that feel destined for collectors’ shelves.
No Guerlain tale is complete without beauty, and the Festive Makeup Collection arrives dressed in white, gold and silver—cases inspired by folded paper and winter skies.
