Next month, Nobu Kuala Lumpur will be collaborating with Nobu Hotel Barcelona for a special week-long dining experience to celebrate the return of Chef Hervé Courtot, Corporate Chef for EU and Middle East locations, from 1 July to 7 July 2019.

 

In conjunction with his visit, Chef Hervé will join forces with Chef Philip Leong, Executive Chef of Nobu Kuala Lumpur and Chef Micheole “Chico” Anung Dator, Head Sushi Chef of Nobu Kuala Lumpur, to curate a special ‘Nobu Trilogy’ Osusume menu which showcases dishes from both Nobu Kuala Lumpur and the soon to be opened Nobu Hotel Barcelona, with Chef Hervé taking the lead for its launch in September 2019.

With this Osusume experience, the three chefs take a fresh approach to create the dishes right at the table, displaying the magic that normally happens behind the scenes in the kitchen.

Guests can look forward to an array of tantalising dishes such as Grilled Oyster Shiso Salsa and Caviar, Seafood Ceviche with Dragon Fruit and Mediterranean Seabass with Truffle Ponzu.

Chef Hervé’s visit will also see the return of Nobu Kuala Lumpur’s distinct Chef’s Table dining experience, where guests will have an opportunity to meet with Chef Hervé, together with Chef Philip and Chef Chico, to curate their own 7-course dinner for a distinctive personal experience any culinary enthusiast could ask for.

The ‘Nobu Trilogy’ Osusume specials start at RM110++ onwards while the Chef’s Table, which comes with 7 courses, is priced at RM645++ per person and is completely customised for each table. Both dining experiences will be available from Monday, 1 July 2019 until Sunday, 7 July 2019.

The Chefs Behind the Experience

Chef Hervé joined the Nobu Restaurant group in 2008 and was responsible for the overall management of the kitchen as Chef de Cuisine for Nobu Dubai. He currently oversees the operations of Nobu franchises at Riyadh, Monte Carlo, Moscow, Cape Town, Doha, Marbella and Ibiza as the Corporate Chef for EU and Middle East locations. Chef Philip, who began his Nobu journey in 2005 at Nobu Berkeley Street in London,worked his way up to Head Chef in 2014 before spearheading the team as Executive Chef at Nobu Kuala Lumpur. Joining the two is Chef Chico, the Head Sushi Chef of Nobu Kuala Lumpur, who comes from Nobu Malibu with five years of experience within the group.
