From the Omani capital Muscat to this five-star hotel is just a 2 hours journey by car. Along the way is miles and miles of sand dunes and occasionally, camel groups walking along the desert. Arrived at the destination, you’ll see in front of the fences, stands the white luxury tents on the infinite view of sand. It was truly a unique landscape.

The camp has a total of 44 luxury tents, retaining the traditional characteristics of the nomadic with five-star hotel facilities. I was assigned to a family-style tents with colorful Arab-style furniture and decoration. It was so comfortable that I have forgotten that I am in the middle of the vast desert. In addition, one of the biggest features of the tent hotel is the magnificent scenery of the Wahibah desert at your doorstep.

The Desert Night Camping Hotel also offers a range of activities for guests, including a free ride of camels in the desert. Guests who wish to seek exciting adventure could take a four-wheel jeep ride to explore the desert. On the ride, you can feel the skilled drifting of the 4 wheel drive by the young driver which will definitely make your heart pound. In the evening, you could take a ride to the camp next to the dunes to watch the sunset. The golden sunshine spilled on the golden desert and the pure white tents; it was like heaven and earth collide, forming a spectacular scenery. In the quiet night, you can choose to enjoy the sound and beauty of nature, or sit in front of the campfire with friends. You could lay on the cool sand to watch a clear sky full of stars.
