This May, Kate Spade New York (KSNY) unveils Kate Spade Cabana – a new seasonal concept that will return each summer moving forward – celebrating the spirit of escape that one feels at the beginning of summer, and everything and anything striped, palm-printed and beach-ready.

Continuing KSNY’s ‘Year of Celebration’ narrative, the Cabana storyline will come to life for consumers around the globe through a series of pop-ups in Malaysia, Singapore, New York City and London. The brand invites the community to enter a “Cabana State of Mind” for an immediate dose of sun, relaxation and play to kick-start the summer season right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, from May 20 to June 5, at The KL Journal Hotel, Level 11.

From the city to the beach – and everything in between – the kate spade Cabana collection lends sunny looks with an even sunnier perspective. Guests will step into the green and white striped kate spade Cabana to browse and shop the brand’s summer collection and pop-up exclusive products – including citrus motifs, wicker bags and an embellished woven straw tote – The pop up will be open to public on weekdays, 3pm to 8pm and weekends, 11am to 8pm.

Guests at the pop up will enjoy summer surprises such as giant jenga, popsicles, and a photo moment contest with prizes such as a KSNY shopping spree worth up to RM3,000 and The KL Journal Hotel staycation vouchers. A limited-edition kate spade Cabana jenga set will also be available with RM1,000 nett spend.

In tandem with the launch of the pop-up series, the brand will also introduce a new kate spade Cabana virtual game on May 19 which will be accessible on https://cabana.kspadeexperiencemy.com/. Upon entering the game, users can view an AR pool float against their surroundings using their mobile camera. Guess the number of bags appearing in the pool float and submit it at the end of the game to receive an exclusive invitation to the pop-up, with a complimentary Cabana-inspired popsicle included.

The Cabana experience will also be accessible on https://malaysia.katespade.com/new/cabana-pop-up starting May 20, offering access to brand fans across Malaysia with complimentary home delivery.
