Taking cues from architectural lines and soft tailoring, COS Autumn/Winter 2017 Collection revisits classic pieces and breathes new life into unstructured yet functional wardrobe staples.
The exclusive preview unveils a juxtaposition of rich textures and geometric drapes that make for cool, off-duty looks. With a palette of deep, earthy tones such as ivory, slate blue and charcoal at the forefront of the collection, the casual pieces are also crafted to meet the needs of modern society.
Bold silhouette merges with technical materials in homage to experimental art and design while clean-cut fabrics lined the bodies in the most innovative ways. Featuring details such as sharp pleats reminiscent of press folds and geometric shapes, exaggerated lapels, cuffs and vents; the sleek pieces are tailored to give an elegant, minimalist finish.
Highlight of this season’s womenswear includes a burgundy wool blend suit with menswear-inspired loose slacks, a tailored wool blend top with zipper finishing and a long deconstructed sleeveless waistcoat. Meanwhile, wool blend grey melange coat, cotton poplin shirt in oatmeal and long quilted parka take centre stage at the menswear collection.
COS Autumn/Winter 2017 Collection will be dropping on August 2017 onwards at Pavilion Elite.
