What happens when Swiss watchmaking meets the adrenaline of Formula 1? Breitling brought the answer to Kuala Lumpur, where an exclusive gathering with Aston Martin and Glenfiddich set the stage for a celebration of speed, precision and racing heritage.
At the centre of it all was the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team — a striking limited-edition chronograph that translates the racing DNA of Aston Martin racing into a timepiece designed for the modern enthusiast.
Crafted with a lightweight titanium case and a distinctive green carbon dial punctuated by lime accents, the chronograph channels the visual language of Aston Martin’s racing machines. A black PVD rotor and perforated racing-inspired fabric strap further reinforce its motorsport character, while the Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01 delivers the mechanical heart of the timepiece.
Limited to 1,959 pieces, the watch pays homage to the year Aston Martin first entered Formula 1. It also adds another chapter to the enduring story of the Navitimer, transforming a legendary pilot’s instrument into a contemporary symbol of Breitling’s worlds of aviation, motorsport and adventure.
The afternoon carried another significant milestone for Breitling with the introduction of Weiron Tan as its newest Regional Friend of the Brand. He joins fellow Malaysian racing driver and long-standing Regional Friend of the Brand Jazeman Jaafar, bringing together two generations of Malaysian motorsport talent whose careers have taken them onto international circuits.
