In a fashion landscape often ruled by speed and spectacle, Dato’ Sri Bernard Chandran pauses — and in that pause, something quietly profound emerges. MYTH Creation, his latest exhibition, is less a collection than a reckoning: a spiritual renaissance shaped by silence, introspection, and personal transformation.

Born from ten days of Vipassana meditation in India and inspired by the rare Year of the Wood Snake, MYTH Creation marks a deliberate shedding of skin. Where MYTH Evolution explored heritage through the symbolism of the Dragon, this chapter turns inward. The Snake — patient, introspective, and quietly powerful — becomes Chandran’s new muse.
The catalyst was unexpected yet poetic: a life-sized charcoal drawing of an Indian Sadhu by Ahmad Zaki. Its presence lingered, guiding Chandran toward stillness and ultimately redefining his creative rhythm. “Change,” he reflects, “is not movement forward — it is understanding where to slow down.”
The exhibition opens with *MYTHS of Aura*, a quartet of works embodying Renewal, Spirituality, Enlightenment, and Passion. Each piece carries the hallmarks of Chandran’s mastery, now softened by restraint and intention. Recognised by Christie’s London, the collection bridges fashion and fine art with meditative grace.

MYTH Creation is not about reinvention for reinvention’s sake. It is about return — to patience, to purpose, and to self. In embracing stillness, Bernard Chandran reminds us that true evolution in fashion, as in life, often begins from within.
