Getting around Kuala Lumpur just became more convenient with the launch of the LaLaport Transportation Hub (LTH) at Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC). Officially opened on 16 July, the integrated hub brings together long-distance bus services, rail connections and airport transfers in one destination, while giving travellers direct access to shopping, dining and entertainment before or after their journey.
Located on Level LG1, East Atrium, the fully sheltered hub features 11 bus bays, an air-conditioned waiting lounge, self-service ticketing kiosks, physical counters and a real-time Passenger Information Display System (PIDS). Travellers can also enjoy practical amenities including complimentary Wi-Fi, luggage lockers, ATMs, money changers and accessible facilities for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
Designed as a multi-modal transport hub, LTH connects seamlessly to the Hang Tuah LRT and Monorail stations, with nearby MRT access, while also serving around 30 bus operators on cross-border Kuala Lumpur–Singapore routes. Airport-bound passengers can take dedicated shuttle van services to KLIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, making transfers even more convenient.
Beyond improving connectivity, the new hub supports Kuala Lumpur’s sustainable mobility ambitions by encouraging greater use of public transport while transforming travel time into a lifestyle experience.
