Pavilion Kuala Lumpur celebrated the very first MT masking tape exhibition and pop-up store in Malaysia this week, held in conjunction with Waku Waku Japan Festival and the award-winning Japanese dedicated precinct – Tokyo Street’s 5th Anniversary.

The pop-up store, which runs from now until August 7, 2016, features six Malaysia-themed limited edition masking tapes created exclusively for Pavilion KL shoppers – including a ‘Waku Waku Japan Festival’ themed masking tape that blankets the entire Centre Court and Spanish Steps leading to level 3.

In collaboration with the designers of MT masking tape, a limited collection of ‘Waku Waku Japan Festival’ themed masking tape will be available for sale from now to August 7, while stocks last. As part of this first and exclusive experience to shoppers, Pavilion KL has also taped up the entire Centre Court and the Spanish Steps leading to level 3, with the ‘Waku Waku Japan Festival’ themed masking tape, adding a vibrant and colourful ambience to the mall.

Shoppers to Pavilion KL are welcome to get inspired at the MT masking tape pop-up store, and there will be workshops available on July 30 and 31, 2016, at 10am and 2pm, where DIY enthusiasts will learn how to use tapes to create labels, page markers, bookmarks, as well as how to pack gifts using techniques like layering and colour coordination. Shoppers can register their interest online at http://mttape.com.sg/mtexkl/.
