Held from 31 July to 2 August, the festival transformed the mall into a lively matsuri destination with Bon Odori dances, Japanese marketplace experiences, over 120 bazaar booths, authentic street food, cultural showcases and hands-on activities. Visitors also enjoyed standout performances by KLP48, Japanese singer-songwriter Kenichi Yamasaki, The Jumpers, cosplay personalities Mao Xian and Akiho, alongside traditional Wadaiko drumming, Yosakoi and Eisa dance performances.

Festival-goers immersed themselves in unique experiences including a Maguro Live Cutting Show, Yukata dressing sessions, kimono showcases, Japanese arcade games and interactive installations, while lucky shoppers celebrated the campaign’s grand finale with the presentation of three 7D6N Japan holiday packages.

Building on the success of its second edition, PAVILION x JAGAM Matsuri 2026 once again strengthened cultural ties between Malaysia and Japan, cementing Pavilion Bukit Jalil as one of Kuala Lumpur’s go-to destinations for immersive lifestyle events and family-friendly cultural experiences.
