Guardian Launches New Concept Store In Conjunction With Its 53rd Anniversary

In conjunction with Guardian Malaysia’s 53rd Anniversary, the leading pharmacy, health and beauty retail chain gave its flagship store at Suria KLCC an invigorating makeover to reinforce its position as the number one pharmacy, health and beauty destination in the city.

Taking into consideration of their customers’ feedback, the new concept store is vibrant and inviting, and the product offerings have been carefully curated to meet their customers shopping needs.

“The Guardian Suria KLCC store is very special for many reasons as it has been Guardian Malaysia’s flagship store serving millions of shoppers since 1998.  It has grown into our number ONE store in sales and is the biggest trading store in our chain and sets the standards for Guardian stores throughout the country,” said Soren Lauridsen, Chief Executive Officer of Guardian South East Asia, during the launch.

“Our ultimate objective is to create practices which are the finest in the retailing industry; connecting our customers to products and helping themchoose the right products with the best value, whether they are pharmacy, health or beauty items,” he added.

All the finishes and fixtures of the new concept store have been redesigned to improve visibility of products and to make shopping more comfortable with dedicated corner to delight customers. Among them are:

  • Eucerin’s skin-age scan technology called the DermaAnalyser that helps customers understand their own skin better;
  • A Maybelline Store – installed with an Augmented Reality Filter that features virtual makeovers and online makeup tools to help customers find the best makeup products;
  • Dedicated sections for Korean and Japanese skin care, cosmetics and hair care;
  • A Kundal Wall – that displays Korea’s top hair-care brand that is available only in Guardian;
  • Pharmacy services available 7 days a week at this store to provide dedicated attention to customers – especially for prescription fulfillments, health checks and consultation;
  • Expanded Health Care section to include special bays for diabetic products, educating customers on dietary plans as well as prevention tips;
  • Guardian’s diverse range of Own Brand products that offer quality and value for money will also feature prominently.

To celebrate the launch and its 53rd Anniversary, Guardian Malaysia will launch a nationwide Fit & Fab Anniversary Celebration contest.
