In conjunction with the celebration of Watsons Brand’s 175th Anniversary, Watsons Malaysia invited 5 local celebrity friends – JC Chee, Lee Yvonne, Nomad, Dayah Bakar and Ikmal Amry, who are the brand’s supporters to share their personal favorite Watsons brand product with media members and blogger’s community at Watsons new concept store in Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall yesterday evening. Their sharing can also be viewed now in a compilation of video that has already showcased on Watsons YouTube and Facebook, respectively.
The celebrity friends were also took part in a fun challenge of shopping spree with 10 lucky media members and bloggers at the new concept store of Watsons. They were divided into 5 groups whereby each group consists of a celebrity and 2 media or blogger friends. The 5 groups were challenged to put their shopping skills to the test by grabbing as many of Watsons brand products as they can within 60 seconds but the total value of the products could not exceed RM888.
After a round of fierce competition, the group led by JC Chee came to the fore as the winner with a total purchase value of RM868, just RM20 different from the preset value of RM888! And the winner team walked away the whole lot of products that they grabbed!
Consequently, a meet and greet session with 4 Hong Kong celebrities were held for Watsons VIP members. The 4 celebrities – Elaine Yiu, Lai Lok Yi, Katy Kung and Moon Lau, who are also TVB artistes were in town to launch a wellness TV program sponsored by Watsons Malaysia which will be aired on Astro Wah Lai Toi and Wah Lai Toi HD channels respectively.
