Love stories are often remembered not for what is said, but for what lingers in the silence. For Qixi Festival 2026, Maison Valentino embraces this quiet beauty with a captivating new campaign by Creative Director Alessandro Michele, inviting us into a world where stolen glances and chance encounters speak louder than words. Inspired by China’s cherished celebration of love, the campaign transforms romance into a deeply cinematic experience through the evocative lens of acclaimed photographer and visual artist Wing Shya.
Set inside an atmospheric bookstore, the story unfolds through subtle moments shared between Friend of the House Lars Huang and models Yidan Huang and Zen Yue. Rather than telling a conventional love story, Valentino captures the anticipation of connection—the fleeting seconds before emotions are revealed. Soft lighting, dreamlike textures and intimate compositions evoke the nostalgic visual language that has made Wing Shya’s work synonymous with poetic storytelling, perfectly complementing Alessandro Michele’s romantic vision for the Maison.

Equally enchanting is the fashion itself. The campaign showcases standout looks from the Valentino Pre-Fall 2026 collection, highlighted by the elegant Valentino Garavani Panthea and DeVain bags alongside signature Rockstud footwear. These iconic accessories become more than finishing touches—they’re woven into a narrative where craftsmanship, emotion and individuality coexist with effortless sophistication.

With its painterly imagery and emotionally charged atmosphere, Valentino’s Qixi 2026 campaign reminds us that modern luxury is as much about storytelling as it is about style. It’s a celebration of love left beautifully unresolved, where every frame invites us to imagine what happens next—and that’s precisely what makes it unforgettable.
