A style born out of the courts in 1983 by way of Argentine grand slam champ Guillermo Vilas, it soon found its way to the streets and switched to a new moniker after the sunshine-loving state. Its laid back style and iconic form has enshrined it in sneaker history.
This season, PUMA releases the California in women’s iterations starting with the California Exotic, worn by Selena Gomez. Boasting a clean tone-on-tone white palette and a black metallic ash version.
