Milan became the stage for an iconic crossover on 26 September, as Onitsuka Tiger unveiled its much-anticipated collaboration with Versace during the Spring Summer 2026 presentation – the debut collection of Versace’s new Chief Creative Officer, Dario Vitale.
The spotlight was on the Onitsuka Tiger TAI-CHI, reimagined through the Versace lens. Crafted in Onitsuka Tiger’s Sanin Tottori factory, the sneakers fuse Japanese precision with Italian luxury. The double-stitched signature stripes, premium Italian leathers, and the unmistakable Medusa emblem, studded and bold on the tongue. Each pair undergoes washing or buffing treatments to create a one-of-a-kind vintage texture.
Not stopping at sneakers, the collaboration also introduced loafers crafted in Italy, presented alongside eight exclusive looks. Together, they embody a seamless marriage of refined craftsmanship and daring design—an emblem of cultural dialogue between East and West.
Vitale’s debut made a clear statement: this is a new chapter for Versace, one that continues its legacy of fearless self-expression while embracing fresh collaborations. And with Onitsuka Tiger’s heritage of innovation and detail-driven artistry, the partnership feels as natural as it is groundbreaking.
A total of 8 looks were presented as part of the collection.
The collection will launch globally in Spring 2026, available at selected Versace flagships and the official online store. Prices and detailed retail information will be announced closer to release.
