Mr. Alain Spinedi, CEO of Louis Erardplays an important role in reviving the brand after its 10 years of silence. He convinced investors to take over Louis Erard in 2003 and set a new milestone for the brand on the path towards Haute Horlogerie at affordable prices. In 2008, Louis Erardcreated an exclusive horological complications with an exclusive module: The Excellence Collection.
The Excellence Collection: Excellence Skeleton
As a gesture in paying tribute to Haute Horlogerie and its traditions, the dial of the Skeleton has been cut away so that the movement is almost entirely visible. Its wheels are laid bare, ready for Louis Erard to embellish them with a brushed finish. Its mechanical insides and nerves of steel make this quietly yet unmistakably masculine watch spanning tradition and modernity.
A transparent back completes this style statement in which aesthetic and precision are perfectly poised. For the rest, Louis Erard looks to the original with large Roman numerals against a white chapter ring, a 40 millimeter steel case and blue hands. A black strap prolongs this noble architecture.
The Limited Edition: Small Second Vintage
A nod to 1931 and a contemporary execution: this dual nature reveals the temperament of this limited edition presented in an equally nostalgic box. A box that contains red wax, a seal and vintage paper. Only 500 pieces, each individually numbered: a watch for the few.
