BYD Sime Motors has given its flagship electric SUV a significant upgrade with the launch of the 2026 BYD SEALION 7, introducing a new Dynamic variant alongside enhanced Premium and Performance models. Designed to make premium electric mobility more accessible, the refreshed line-up brings longer driving range, faster charging capabilities and greater choice for Malaysian drivers seeking an everyday EV without compromising on technology or performance.
The headline addition is the BYD SEALION 7 Dynamic, priced from RM163,800, with the first 300 customers enjoying a special introductory price of RM159,800. Equipped with a 71.8kWh Blade Battery, rear-wheel drive and a driving range of up to 520km (NEDC), the new entry variant offers an appealing balance of practicality, efficiency and value. Meanwhile, the Premium and Performance models receive a larger 91.39kWh Blade Battery, extending their driving range to as much as 650km (NEDC) while boosting DC fast charging speeds from 150kW to 230kW for shorter charging stops.
Beyond improved performance, every 2026 BYD SEALION 7 comes equipped with BYD’s Blade Battery, the advanced e-Platform 3.0, intelligent connectivity features and a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), delivering a safer and more refined driving experience.
