October is more than just pink ribbons — it’s about action, advocacy, and community. This year, Estée Lauder Malaysia brings fresh energy to its Breast Cancer Campaign 2025 under the inspiring theme Breast Care is Self-Care. The campaign reframes breast health as a vital part of everyday wellness, urging women in Malaysia to go beyond awareness and embrace proactive action.
More than three decades ago, Evelyn H. Lauder co-created the iconic Pink Ribbon and founded The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign. What started as a spark in 1992 has since grown into a global movement, funding more than USD144 million in breast cancer initiatives and fueling groundbreaking research through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Today, Estée Lauder continues to honor that legacy by rallying communities worldwide, including right here in Malaysia.
This year, Estée Lauder Malaysia takes its campaign to the streets, malls, and courts with three engaging initiatives designed to inspire action and raise support.
1. Pink Ribbon Installations (1–31 October 2025)
Bold and beautiful pink ribbon installations will appear across iconic malls and lifestyle hubs including IOI City Mall, Sunway Pyramid, Mid Valley KL, and Johor’s Mid Valley Southkey. These symbols of unity also serve as donation points—reminding Malaysians that even small contributions can spark big change.
2. The First-Ever “Pinkleball” Charity Drive (18 October 2025)
In a playful yet powerful twist, Estée Lauder introduces Pinkleball—a charity pickleball tournament held at Pickle Depot, Sentul. Beyond the fun of the game, the event channels proceeds directly to Cancer Research Malaysia (CRMY), the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM), and the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA).
3. “Breast Care is Self-Care” Campaign Video
A specially produced film will debut during the Pinkleball Charity Drive, capturing heartfelt stories and reframing breast health as part of daily wellness rituals.
“Breast cancer remains the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women worldwide,” said William P. Lauder, Executive Chairman, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. “We will continue supporting the brilliant researchers who are working towards a cure while also advocating for prevention and early detection.”
From pink ribbons to pickleball, Estée Lauder’s 2025 campaign is more than a movement — it’s a reminder that caring for yourself can also change the future for countless women.
