In conjunction with HyppTV’s “Keindahan Ramadan, Keriangan Syawal” campaign for the coming holy month of Ramadan and Raya celebration, HyppTV will present exclusive local productions with fresh content on HyppSensasi HD as well as HyppInspirasi HD starting June 2016.
HyppTV will present four new exclusive local drama series on HyppSensasi HD:
- ‘Lip Lap Raya’ starring Daler Yusof and Sariyanti and ‘Cinta Tangkap Muat’ starring Johan Asha’ari and Mimi Lana starting 6 June 2016;
- Drama series ‘Mr. Secret Admirer’ starring Feroz Khan and Elfira Loy will premiere on 17 June 2016;
- ‘Spylah Sangat’ starring Zain Hamid and Risteena will start on 22 June 2016.
In addition to the local drama series, HyppTV also introduces ‘Euromaxx’, an entertainment show in Bahasa Malaysia every Sunday, starting 12 June 2016 featuring entertainment highlights from Europe, hosted by Hunny Madu and Nina Nadira. ‘Euromaxx’ is a local programme adaptation based on the original version produced by Deutsche Welle (DW) Channel, an international channel based in Germany.
HyppSensasi HD will also feature Raya specials programmes such as ‘Konsert Ella 2016’ which was recently held at Stadium Melawati, ‘Rockers Raya’ a musical raya special featuring finalists of HyppTV’s first Rock themed reality show “Rockers”, and a special telemovie ‘Cinta Sticky Notes’ starring Ayda Jebat and Izzue Islam. HyppSensasi HD will also showcase special tele-movies during Ramadan every Saturday at 8.00 pm in June.
In addition, fans of lifestyle programmes on HyppInspirasi HD, will enjoy the spontaneous and fun cooking shows hosted by the following popular hosts:
- Popular host Fendi on ‘Dapur Bujang Ramadan’ at 7.00 pm daily starting 6 June.
- Celebrity chef, Chef Ismail will also be sharing his delicious and exciting recipes in ‘Chef Mail Masak Bersama Pensonic’ every Thursday at 9.30 pm together with celebrity guests such as Faizal Hussein, Marsha Milan Londoh, Ungku Ismail, Abam Bocey, Amber Chia, Elfira Loy and many more;
- During the Raya celebration, comedy fans should also look forward to ‘Sitcom Raya’ a comedy special on HyppInspirasi HD.
HyppSensasi HD and HyppInspirasi HD are available on HyppTV Channel 116 and HyppTV Channel 111 respectively.

HyppTV’s Rebranded Islamic Channel – Salam HD
HyppTV also unveiled its newly re-branded channel ‘Salam HD’ – formerly known as ‘Hikmah’ – on HyppTV Channel 113, starting 5 June 2016, featuring comprehensive Islamic content in Bahasa Malaysia and focusing on Islamic factual and lifestyle programmes in HD, suitable for family viewing.
Salam HD offers a comprehensive Islamic content in Bahasa Malaysia. Focusing on Islamic factual and lifestyle programmes, the channel will offer a variety of exciting new and exclusive Islamic content such as documentary, magazine, talk show, telemovies and drama series. Currently being offered as a free channel, Salam HD will be also available with time-shift and catch-up function as well as on HyppTV Everywhere for viewers who are on the move.
