Supported by the Ministry of Health and the Malaysian Dental Association, Colgate-Palmolive aims to educate Malaysians on the importance of oral healthcare towards overall health and well-being in conjunction with the Oral Health Month 2018 themed “Get Mouth Fit”.

In a recent survey conducted by Colgate it was discovered that while Malaysians agreed that oral health affects overall health, close to half of those surveyed believed that they did not know how to achieve good oral health.

Colgate OHM 18 Product packshotColgate’s “Get Mouth Fit” Oral Health Month 2018 campaign seeks to address this directly as part of the 4 key steps to Get Mouth Fit – through brushing twice a day for 2 minutes, flossing and rinsing with mouthwash, changing the toothbrush every 3 months and visit the dentist regularly.

As part of the campaign, Colgate’s “Get Mouth Fit” Oral Health Month 2018 campaign has roped in popular TV host, actor and fitness enthusiast Fahrin Ahmad to advocate the 4 key steps to Get Mouth Fit. Fahrin will share his tips to getting “Mouth Fit” with fans throughout the month of March.

Now in its 15th consecutive year, Colgate’s Oral Health Month 2018 continues to build on its efforts to enhance the overall health status and quality of life for Malaysians, by increasing accessibility to dental services, which includes free dental check-ups at 1,109 private participating dental clinics nationwide.
