Ryo Introduces the All-New “Hamchosoo” Scalp Care Range

Korean premium haircare label, Ryo introduces the all-new “Hamchosoo” scalp care range formulated with natural ingredients used by ancestors from the Korean traditional rituals. Inspired by the Korean words, “Ham” which means “to embrace”, “Cho” which means “herbal” and “Soo” which means “water”, the range is inspired by the traditional practice during “Dano Day” celebration, where Korean women come together to partake in “danojang” a custom in which they cutand boiled the roots of “changpo” the calamus, a tall perennial wetland plant where they washed their hand in boiled water to add luster to their hair. The women would also pin the roots of the plant to their hair with the belief that the unique aroma would keep the evil spirits away.
The “Hamchosoo” scalp care range features two different shampoo and conditioner solutions:
  • the Ryo Calamus Shining Shampoo and Conditioner to purify the scalp for shiny hair; and
  • the Ryo Evening Primrose Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner to nourish the scalp and volumize the hair.

Ryo Calamus Shining Shampoo and Conditioner

The all-new Ryo Calamus Shining Shampoo and Conditioner are formulated with pure surfactant from nature with a fresh and aromatic herbal scent. The products are 100% scientifically formulated and manufactured in Korea with the formula made up of natural ingredients and free from silicone oil, animal ingredients, and synthetic colouring. The calamus extract purifies and calms the scalp while adding a healthy shine to your hair. The Ryo Calamus Shining Shampoo and Conditioner are suitable for both damp, oily scalp, and rough, lack-luster hair.

Ryo Evening Primrose Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner

The new Ryo Evening Primrose Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner are formulated with a powerful medicinal flower with delight and floral-herbal scent. The products are 100% scientifically formulated and manufactured in Korea with the formula made up of natural ingredients and free from silicone oil, animal ingredients, and synthetic colouring. The evening primrose extract provides nourishment to the scalp and volumizes the hair. The Ryo Evening Primrose Volumizing Shampooand Conditioner are suitable for dry scalp and weak, droopy hair.

The Ryo Calamus Shining Shampoo and Conditioner and the Ryo Evening Primrose Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner retails for RM48 each with a pack size of 400ml. They will available starting 1 August 2020 onwards at all Watsons’ stores nationwide and the following online stores:
