A love of literature takes centre stage as the Aesop Women’s Library returns to Malaysia this September, inviting readers to discover stories by female authors—completely free.
From 19–20 September 2026, Aesop KLCC will transform its familiar shelves of skincare into a literary haven, featuring 25 titles in English, Mandarin and Malay from local publishers including Gerakbudaya, Mentor Publishing and Buku Fixi.
Returning after a brief hiatus, this year’s Women’s Library explores the female body as a bridge between private identity and the wider world, highlighting diverse experiences and giving visibility to often-overlooked women’s voices.
Visitors can choose one complimentary book to take home, with no purchase required, while stocks last. Aesop consultants will also be on hand to offer recommendations and encourage moments of literary discovery and connection.
Since its inception in 2021, the Aesop Women’s Library has distributed more than 115,000 books globally, continuing Aesop’s long-standing connection with storytelling, reading and the written word.
