Pavilion KL celebrated last week its record-breaking achievement of 8,888 Prosperity Petals in the “Dream Garden of Prosperity”, a breathtaking celebration of dreams in conjunction with the Chinese New Year.

As with all signature festivals, Pavilion KL broke the records once again in the Malaysia Book of Records by presenting shoppers the ‘most number of hanging fabric flower petals’ for its cascading 8,888 petals in the Centre Court, which flow in harmony and unity, blessing shoppers with abundance of prosperity and longevity.

The ceremony was attended by Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi, Founder of the Malaysia Book of Records and the Pavilion KL senior management team.

The 10 Lions – symbols of Prosperity, Harmony, Unity, Happiness, Love, Wisdom, Success, Wealth, Good Health and Great Dreams, provided a thundering welcome to the guests before a Pavilion KL Chinese New Year 2018 Music Video showcase took centre-stage on the LED screen sung by Summer Grace.

To mark a momentous occasion for Pavilion KL, guests and shoppers were led by the 10 Lions to the mall’s Main Entrance where they wrote on prosperity petal notes of their wishes and dreams to tie on one of the 1,111 balloons on display. The exhibition, titled “Wishes in the Air” ties back to Visit Pavilion 2018, which positions Pavilion KL as a ‘Destination of Dreams’ and promises visitors priceless experiences, personalised indulgences, amazing rewards and fulfilment of dreams for shoppers and the community.
