An Unparalleled Raya Fashion Experience at #ZALORAYA2019

The #ZALORAYA2019 Presentation and Pop-Up, which took place last 14 March, attracted a crowd of over 850 invited guests to the exclusive fashion shows, and another 1,000 or more walk-ins to the open-for-public Pop-Up.

Divided into two spaces, Black Box Publika held 3 sessions of fashion presentations by ZALORA’s fashion designers, while White Box Publika opened its doors for a 12-hour, one-day-only Pop-Up, hosting ZALORA’s beauty brands in a shoppable experience.

Fashion Presentations

The events were buzzing with excitement as guests of note appeared, among whom were Neelofa, Ameera Khan, Kilafairy, Ain Edruce, Azira Shafinaz and Cik Manggis of DeFam, Alia Bastamam, Daiyan Trisha, Yaya Zahir, Dato’ Jovian Mandagie, and more. Whilst familiar local faces like Alicia Amin, Nia Atasha, Rubini Sambanthan and Natalie Prabha stormed the runway, designers like Dato’ Tom Abang Saufi, Nurita Harith, Syomir Izwa, Afiq M and more awaited to take their bow backstage.

Meanwhile, in the #ZALORAYA2019 Pop-Up at the adjacent White Box, guests were crowding around the workshop booths to catch their favourite brands like Laneige and FOREO give tips and advice to achieving the key Raya looks of the upcoming season. Photo opportunities were aplenty with celebrity names like Ameera Khan and Ferra Rossa taking to the stage, connecting with their fans and customers on their best beauty practices

Brands like B&B Labs, By Eggs, DoctoX, Pure Theory, The Face Shop and Fame Cosmetics benefited from the influx of shoppers exploring the Pop-Up, as everyone rushed to redeem their goodie bags by completing a Beauty Passport Experience. Shoppers that visited vendors’ booths and participated in activities were awarded with stamps, and upon completion received an assortment of free products. The vendors were also pleased with on-the-spot buys, made available to visitors of the Pop-Up simply by scanning a QR code, leading them back to the ZALORA website.
