\"J<\/a>Hong Kong’s J Plus Hotel by YOO<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0unveiled an exclusive exhibition \u201cThe Nadeshiko<\/strong>\u201d by an Irish urban-contemporary artist, Fin DAC<\/strong>, at Art@JPlus, a\u00a0dedicated art space at\u00a0the hotel last month. The new pop-up exhibition showcases\u00a010 of Fin DAC’s most iconic street art pieces, created for his show in Venice, California and re-envisioned for this show using a unique printing format on bamboo and brushed aluminium.<\/p>\n

Fin DAC is known for an atypical paint\/stencil style which confronts the norms of the visual language of street art. \u00a0He dubs this method \u201cUrban Aesthetics\u201d – his modern-day take on a 19th<\/sup> century art movement. Though Fin DAC\u2019s work can be seen on walls, boats and rooftops on four continents of the world, his first-ever solo show \u201cThe Nadeshiko\u201d only launched in June 2015 and was a complete sell out.<\/p>\n\r\n
