- The largest single transaction was for RM1,000 which was spent on online groceries<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
- GrabPay users also didn\u2019t let the new normal keep them away from shopping, the top categories they spent were on food & beverage, grocery stores<\/strong> and online shopping sites such as Zalora and FashionValet for their Baju Raya<\/strong>, which amounted to over 400,00 transactions.<\/li>\n
- In the spirit of giving, Malaysians extended their generosity to those less fortunate as well with over 17 million GrabRewards Points were donated to various charities and NGOs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- The top dish Malaysians ordered from the eKitchen Bazar was Murtabak with more than 10,000 orders during Ramadan, <\/strong>followed by Roti John, Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Briyani & Nasi Tomato<\/strong>, whereas the top dessert throughout Ramadan wasTau Fu Fah.<\/strong><\/li>\n
- The combination of the top three rice dishes alone accounted for up to 20,000 orders<\/strong> which approximately equals 1,800 kilograms of rice<\/strong> delivered to hungry Malaysians.<\/li>\n
- Many of the e-Kitchen Bazar locations saw tremendous support from the community around the area. E-Kitchen Bazar Damansara\/TTDI saw a whooping RM8,000 in sales in just one day<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
- Malaysians also enjoyed their Ramadan Favourites <\/strong>dishes from over 900 restaurants on GrabFood, with an average of nearly 19,000 orders per day.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
- The top item from this curated list was Nasi Lemak with up to 4X as many orders as any other dish – over 160,000 orders!\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Otheritems Malaysians loved ordering were Laksa, Nasi Ayam, Roti Canai and Nasi Kerabu.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Even Grab had to embrace the new normal and approach things very differently throughout these times. Take for example \u201cAmy Cari, Grab Ada<\/em><\/a>\u201d, which is a series of seven short videos featuring Amy Search adjusting to Ramadan in a socially distanced world. The entire production was completely done remotely. Since its launch, the series of videos has gained some great positive feedback and garnered over 9.5 million views.<\/p>\n
