TLC Festival Malaysia<\/a> has drawn more than 15,000 visitors! <\/strong>The\u00a0<\/strong>event\u00a0<\/strong>was held last Sunday at Setia City Park, Setia Alam, by\u00a0Asia Pacific\u2019s leading travel and lifestyle channel, in partnership with Astro and main sponsor Watsons Malaysia. The visitors got to enjoy a day of lip smacking food and drinks, fun filled activities and performances, and a chance to meet and snap photos with their favourite TLC personalities.<\/p>\n

Erwan Heussaff & Janet Hsieh<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Erwan Heussaff, TLC Southeast Asia\u2019s all-new brand ambassador, was appearing together with\u00a0Janet Hsieh, host of TLC\u2019s Fun Taiwan <\/em>franchise, and\u00a0demonstrating his cooking\u00a0talent at the festival to show fans how he makes \u2018Soft Shell Crab Orange Passembur\u2019, a dish inspired by one of his favourite Malaysian eats.<\/p>\n

Janet Hsieh\u00a0has also shared with her fans her travel adventures, relationship advice and her latest series Fun Taiwan All-Stars: Wedding Special<\/em><\/strong>. Fans can\u00a0watch\u00a0this three-part programme, which premieres every Tuesday, starting November 24, at 8.00p.m on TLC (Astro channel 707). It also captures some of the most magical moments of Janet’s recent big day in Antarctica!<\/p>\n

The Fabulous Baker Brothers<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The celebrity chefs\u00a0duo from\u00a0The Fabulous Baker Brothers<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, have showcased their cooking skill by making\u00a0their own rendition of some Malaysian favourites \u2013 \u2018Nasi Goreng with Smoked Mackerel\u2019 and \u2018Chicken Satay Kebabs\u2019, with the help of some lucky fans.<\/p>\n

The multi-talented Jojo Struys, host of TLC\u2019s Jojo\u2019s Diary of Asia<\/em><\/strong> and an advanced rhythm tapper, entertained festivalgoers with an infectious tap dance performance featuring ethnic Indian, Chinese and Dayak percussions.<\/p>\n

In addition to the appearances by the TLC personalities, the festival had a wide variety of artisanal fare served at the numerous food trucks, live music and energetic dance performances by the Rejuvenate Dance Crew, and many fun activities including lifestyle workshops such as Mexican cooking and coffee appreciation, a holiday grooming session by Watsons Celebrity Friend Datin Winnie Loo and Watsons Move Your Body Zumba, amongst others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
