Neon Lights Festival is just less a week away and things are shaping up at Fort Canning Green to welcome a list of phenomenal acts including Mumford & Sons<\/strong>, HALSEY<\/strong>, Honne<\/strong>, Nick Murphy fka Chet Faker<\/strong>, AURORA<\/strong> and much more.<\/p>\n

\"\"This year, Neon Lights Festival will go cashless and payment methods accepted include NETS, Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards, and FavePay<\/strong>. First-time users of FavePay<\/strong> are in for a treat as the mobile payment app is offering a discount of S$5 when you top up S$80 in your RFID wristbands on the first transaction.<\/p>\n

The Main Stage festivities kick-off on Saturday, 23\u00a0November with\u00a0Mumford & Sons, Honne,\u00a0Musa\u00a0Masa, Disco Hue,\u00a0King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard,\u00a0Disco Hue,\u00a0Shak & the Baits <\/strong>and\u00a0AndreaH<\/strong>,\u00a0while Sunday, 24\u00a0November will see HALSEY, Nick Murphy fka Chet Faker, AURORA,\u00a0BADBADNOTGOOD,\u00a0Gus Dapperton,\u00a0Cosmo\u2019s Midnight, Joan <\/strong>and MMLD<\/strong>\u00a0round up an unforgettable weekend<\/p>\n

On top of the impressive musicians on the Main Stage, festival-goers can wander over to The Bandstand<\/strong> to indulge in more electronic music. Check out funky sets by DJs such as Gonzo, Intriguant, Aalely, Kid Fiesta, <\/strong>and Ramesh <\/strong>on Saturday, 23rd<\/sup> November. The aptly named Ice Cream Sundays<\/strong> take over the decks together with Clean Bandit DJ\/ MC Set <\/strong>and Fleetmac Wood<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Housed at The Haven, Neon Nooks <\/strong>is the place for all festival-goers to hone their creativity with art and activities led by Aliens of Manila x Singapore (feat. Leeroy New, Jereh Leung and Sonia Kwek)<\/strong> and Francois Knoetze.<\/strong> Dancing is highly recommended when roving bands Mariachi Viva Mexico <\/strong>and Bloco Singapura <\/strong>weave through the festival ground.<\/p>\n

The evergreen Silent Disco <\/strong>returns for the weekend, this time with Silent Disco Kids Edition <\/strong>at Neon Kids <\/strong>at The Haven<\/strong>. Other activities for the young and young at heart include getting your fingers dirty with the Aliens of Manila Sci-Fi Helmet Making Workshop<\/strong> and Sideshow Garden Games<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Scrumptious food offerings to refuel on can be found at the Market<\/strong>, and this year, festival-goers can chew on bites by 21 Sliders<\/strong>, Artichoke<\/strong>, Chix Hot Chicken<\/strong>, Fat Prince<\/strong>, Fung Kee Hotdogs<\/strong>, Papi\u2019s Tacos<\/strong>, Taste of Kult x Kult Kafe<\/strong>, The Ice Cream & Cookie Co.<\/strong>, and The Swag Social<\/strong>. To go with, drinks by Tiger Crystal<\/strong>, Strongbow<\/strong> and Jim Beam<\/strong> are available at the festival and dedicated bars dotted around the green with Happy Hour going from 1pm to 6pm.<\/p>\n
