Laurent Ferrier is an independent brand founded in 2008 by a veteran Swiss watchmaker of\u00a0the same name. The brand was founded on a dream to make watches that represent Laurent Ferrier’s horological values: simplicity, precision and pure, uncluttered beauty.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In attendance and representing the Laurent Ferrier brand was Christian Ferrier, son of founder Laurent Ferrier and brand CEO, Vanessa Monestel. Amongst the most notable timepieces within the Laurent Ferrier collection making their debut here in Kuala Lumpur is the Galet Annual Calendar School Piece, a SIHH 2018 novelty, the Galet Classic Tourbillon Double Spiral and a World Exclusive, the Laurent Ferrier Galet Traveller Asia of which only three timepieces were created exclusively for retailer Sincere Fine Watches. Clad in rose gold, the Laurent Ferrier Galet Traveller Asia pays special tribute to Asia with a beautiful enamel dial featuring a luscious map of Asia.<\/p>\n

The event kickstarted when Vanessa Monestel, CEO of Laurent Ferrier welcomed and\u00a0addressed the guests, sharing with them a presentation of the brand and the collection which were all on display at the Sincere boutique.<\/p>\n

To keep guests suitably entertained and to engage guests with the art of watchmaking as part of the Sincere Watch Academy, Christian Ferrier held a live watchmaking masterclass that presented selected media and guests the opportunity to experience first hand the fine art of mastering Black Polishing also known as Sp\u00e9culaire. The fun and enjoyable masterclass saw attendees polish the intricate components to a mirror finish using a variety of traditional techniques and materials.<\/p>\n
