Approximately 30,000 Malaysians will get together on this\u00a022 July 2018 for\u00a0World Vision\u2019s 30-Hour Famine\u00a0<\/span>to lend a helping hand to children living in poverty and to learn about the issues impacting them.<\/p>\n

This year,\u00a0World Vision\u2019s 30-Hour Famine\u00a0campaign aims to raise RM2.6million to combat food insecurity and malnutrition issues in Malaysia, India, Lesotho, and Myanmar.\u00a0Funds collected will also be channelled to World Vision Malaysia\u2019s community development work in Sabah, Beautiful Gate Foundation for the Disabled, Dignity for Children Foundation, Good Shepherd Services, Fugee School, Yayasan Sin Chew and Dual Blessing.<\/p>\n

The mega fund raiser will culminate in a Countdown event on Sunday, 22 July 2018<\/span> at Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam. Of the 30,000, an estimated 15,000 participants are expected to be present at the Countdown. World Vision\u2019s 30-Hour Famine Ambassador G.E.M. will officially launch the annual fundraising and advocacy event and present for the Countdown.<\/p>\n
