After months of stiff competition, Malaysia Supermodel Search (MSS) 2015<\/a><\/strong> came to a finale\u00a0yesterday with Wil Beh Khai Sheng\u00a0and Nurfashikin Gomez\u00a0took the title of this year’s winners of the male and\u00a0female categories<\/strong>, respectively. The 1st runner up went to\u00a0Mika Aaron Jenewin and\u00a0Ong Cyii Cheng. All these four winners are from\u00a0same state, Selangor.<\/p>\n

The grand finale, which was held\u00a0at the main stage of Paradigm Mall yesterday evening,\u00a0showcased the final performances of\u00a0the ten\u00a0finalists\u00a0who were surviving through a series of\u00a0extensive challenges, from\u00a0catwalk, photo shoots, styling, acting to grooming.<\/p>\n

Three of the finalists,\u00a0Ong Cyii Cheng, Ooi Jin Hoon and Wil Beh Khai Sheng were\u00a0also competing for the Best Talent Award by performing their singing or dancing talents, respectively, on the stage of the grand finale.\u00a0Ooi Jin Hoon (Jin) has\u00a0wowed the crowd with his superb dancing skills and succeeded\u00a0to win the Best Talent Award<\/strong>. Jin was also named as\u00a0the 2nd runner up of MSS 2015 for the male category, together with Fish Zhang, the only finalist from China, for the female category.<\/p>\n

At the showdown, the top ten\u00a0finalists had to prove their runway worth in a battle of different catwalk styles to complement the apparels of local designers Hayden Koh, SUSS by Bremen Wong, Andy Bandy, Commodity, When Our Eyes Meet, Eevin, Zakwin Anuar and Jimmy Lim.<\/p>\n

The final performances of the ten\u00a0finalists were judged by\u00a0the panel of judges namely, the International Model<\/em> Ms. Amber Chia, Catwalk Guru<\/em> Mr. Benjamin Toong,\u00a0Mr. Phoster Sageh,\u00a0Datuk Seri Jessy Lai,\u00a0Mr. Maxim Othman,\u00a0Mr. Vu Khae Tiep and\u00a0Ms. Ky Han.<\/p>\n

The winners of each category walked away with modeling contracts from the reputable modeling companies in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, magazine featuring, millinery and beauty products, electronic products, and\u00a0cash prizes.<\/p>\n

Running in its fifth year,\u00a0the\u00a0MSS\u00a02015 kicked off middle this year via live auditions in both Peninsular and East Malaysia, from which ten female and ten male models were selected to battle it out on a reality program on YouTube.
