The cult of Comme, your prayers have been heard. Chief executive officer of Japanese fashion house Comme des Gar\u00e7ons, Adrian Joffe, has announced an expansion in the label’s business plan – a brand new online brand slated for July 2018 release.<\/p>\n
\u201cNobody knows yet, but what I can tell you is it\u2019s going to be internet-based,\u201d he said. Despite the hush-hush statement, Joffe did say that the website will be designed by his wife slash business partner Rei Kawakubo which will soon followed by the opening of six shops nationwide.<\/p>\n
The big reveal, which was made at the launch of China’s first Dover Street Market, also hinted at the line to come: a simple range for both men and women. This online\u00a0range marks the 18th brand for the company that’s known to carry lines like\u00a0Homme, Play, Plus and more.<\/p>\n
