Visit Victoria (VV)<\/a>, Publika Shopping Gallery and UEM Sunrise is calling all aspiring and professional Malaysian street artists to take part in the Make Your Mark in Melbourne<\/strong> in collaboration with UEM Sunrise street art competition.<\/p>\n

Submit your artwork by 8 April 2018, 5pm<\/strong> via www.makeyourmarkinmelbourne.com<\/a> for the chance to get your very own wall at the regional Victoria\u2019s Wall to Wall Benalla 2019, the only street art festival of its kind in Australia, and your share of the RM48,000 total cash prize.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s participants are invited to submit their original artwork in digital format depicting any one or more of the following Melbourne related themes:<\/strong> food and drink; architecture; arts and culture; events and nature<\/strong>. Ten shortlisted finalists will then be invited to showcase their artistic talents by creating their respective works of art live at the Publika Shopping Gallery. Along with a specially appointed panel of judges, the finalists\u2019 works will also be open for public votes.<\/p>\n

Winners will also receive the opportunity to showcase their works at UEM Sunrise developments in Melbourne.<\/p>\n

Last year\u2019s winner, Leonard Siaw, is the first Malaysian street artist to make a mark in Melbourne at the Wall to Wall Benalla 2018; and rubbed shoulders with a host of local and international street artists such as George Rose, Justine McAllister, Lolo Ys, Tim Bowtell; as he painted a 1-storey building.<\/p>\n
