Are you someone who has dry chapped lips? Well, who doesn’t have dry lips when we stay in the air conditioner room for long hours. Maybe some of you doesn’t have this problem in our country, but we think it is better to read this article as you can get some tips on how to take care of kissable lips. If you are travelling to somewhere dry and cold, we bet you will have dry lips problem! Here is why you are having dry chapped lips no matter how many times you apply lip balm.<\/p>\n

Do you know that the skin on our lips is like the skin around the eye area? It is different from the different part of our skin because it doesn’t have oil glands. This is why our lips get dry and why is it so difficult to tackle the peeling and cracked condition.<\/p>\n

Say No To Lip Licking<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don’t lick your lips, this is because lip licking can cause a form of dermatitis which commonly referred to as inflamed, sore, and extremely chapped lips. Even if you don’t consider your lip licking excessive, harsh weather conditions like harsh winds and the sun’s drying rays will cause dry lips too.<\/p>\n

As alcoholic beverages and coffee will dehydrate the skin, it is better not to let artificial ingredients from food or beverage to touch your lips. The skin on our lips is way more delicate than the skin on your face and body, thus, when the chemicals touch the lips, it will cause our lips to dehydrate faster.<\/p>\n

Find A Soothing Lip Balm<\/strong><\/p>\n

As we can see in the market, there is lip balm that is made by petroleum and castor oil. Try to look for a lip balm that is loaded with skin nourishing vitamins, minerals and essential oils.<\/p>\n
