With Chinese New Year fast approaching, preparations are well underway to ring in the Year of the Dog. Good fortune and prosperity are set to be welcomed in exquisite fashion at the Curve, through the mall\u2019s campaign, Lady of Spring<\/em>.<\/p>\n

From January 19 to February 18, 2018, visitors to the mall are sure to be blown away as the Curve\u2019s Centre Court is transformed into a lush, heavenly mountaintop. A gentle fog carpeting the area creates the illusion of being high up in the clouds, with a pristine water feature streaming downwards. Interspersed among red lanterns, sweet cherry blossoms and other flora in a variety of pastel-coloured petals surround the area, lending a serene presence for all to enjoy.<\/p>\n

Amidst this calming backdrop, the cascading melodies of the Curve\u2019s Lady of Spring<\/em> Dance Musical<\/em> perfectly heralds the start of the Spring Festival. Specially-choreographed just for the festive occasion, the live performance showcases the joy of the nymph-like Lady of Spring and her handmaidens. Dressed in floral-inspired, vibrant pink and green costumes, the graceful dancers\u2019 joyous performance in honour of the new lunar year is sure to be a memorable sight!<\/p>\n

A myriad of exciting performances await visitors to the Curve aside from the live musical. In addition to the well-loved Traditional Lion Dance<\/em>, enjoy a shot of adrenaline as the Acrobatic Lion Dance<\/em> troupe add daring stunts to their show! Lending a touch of nostalgia, an Elegant Chinese Instrumental Orchestra <\/em>featuring traditional Chinese instruments will perform a variety of Chinese New Year classics. Lastly, be sure to greet the God of Prosperity<\/em> on his walkabouts around the Curve!<\/p>\n
